J.F. Gariepy of Alt-Right and Epstein?

J.F. Gariepy is a longtime podcaster for the Alt-Right.  He started on YouTube in the early 2010s, with debating leftists like Destiny on debate forums for race realism.  Soon after he launched his own show. It had a whacky mix of topics early on, but Gariepy centered his shows on race realism-related topics.

The headline at Fox News this morning, August 2019,

Epstein bankrolled Harvard, scientists to bioengineer his own human race

From Fox reporter Rachel Tesler:

Stephen Pinker“Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier, who is accused of child sex trafficking, sought to breed his own human race as funded by Harvard-trained and various upper echelon scientists to realize this dream…

Epstein manipulated his wealthy and educated connections to engage his fascination with genetic engineering and transhumanism, or the science of improving the population through genetic modification and artificial intelligence.”

Tesler also reports that Epstein was into what some have termed “alt-genetics” and funded Cryogenics efforts and wanted to freeze his own penis for the future.

The Epstein case is being reopened including allegations he was murdered in his prison cell, by AG Pam Bondi and the Trump administration.

George Church of Jurassic Park, Jurassic Rebirth fame, also received significant $$s from Epstein

Of particular interest to readers of Subspecieist.com:

George Church“Among the scientists Epstein consulted were Nobel prize-winning physicist Murray Gell-Mann, who discovered the quark, Nobel laureate and M.I.T.’s theoretical physicist Frank Wilczek, paleontologist and evolutionary neurologist Oliver Sacks, the well-known physicist Stephen Hawking, and molecular engineer George M. Church, who has identified genes that could be modified to create superior humans.

He had allegedly revealed his ‘superior race’ plans to a a wide array of people beginning in the early 2000s.”

Notably, Stephen Pinker, a favorite of this site, rejected Epstein’s plans. Continuing:

“Epstein allegedly criticized efforts to abolish hunger and reform health care. because of the risk of overpopulation. When Pinker protested the bioethics of this, Epstein dismissed him entirely from his inner circle.”

In full disclosure, J.F. Gariepy, whose views many times intersect with the views presented here at Subspecieist.com received a one-time donation from Epstein two years ago.  In an episode of his YouTube show Public Space just two weeks ago, Gariepy chuckled about the affair:

Pam Bondi“I announce that Jeff Epstein has once contributed to the start of my YouTube channel, with a $25,000 check. Since then my YouTube channel has taken a kind of different direction. And people were scandalized, [saying] J.F. was an agent of a Jewish millionaire rapist.”

An vehemently anti-white racist website, Right Wing Watch reported Gariepy’s remarks at first in 2018:

“Now, it’s not that I give a shit about this guy. OK, he got arrested after and the fact that he donated to my channel at the very beginning of my YouTube career does not influence me. I’m not trying to find Jeff Epstein innocent in what he’s been accused of. “

He continued:

“I may never have talked about it, but Jeff Epstein had given $25,000 to my foundation in the U.S. when I started my YouTube career. As a Jewish millionaire, I think he didn’t expect my channel to turn the way it did.”

The J-F Gariépy/Epstein connection

Revolutionary PhenotypeOne among the long list of “scientists” sponsored by Jeffrey Epstein was, to my initial surprise, Jean-François Gariépy, but then after I thought about it, I realized they were perfect for each other. If you’re unfamiliar with JF, as he’s called, his RationalWiki page is informative. He’s one of those alt-right YouTubers with an extraordinarily creepy history — he’s a Jew-baiting advocate for a white ethnostate, and he has a thing for sexual relationships with young women with severe intellectual disabilities. He’s just a terrible, horrible person all around.

Dang. No one ever gave me $25K to play on the internet, but then, I have a strict policy of not taking money from rapists or pedophiles. That seems to greatly limit funding sources, I guess.

What I specifically found interesting though, is that Gariépy requested additional money from Epstein to write a book. He did not get that funding, but he did write the book! It’s called The Revolutionary Phenotype, and the description sounds kind of nuts.

Editor’s note – We report the good and bad here at Subspeciest.com as it relates to race realism, diversity genetics, and human varation.  In some respects, good for Stephen Pinker in rejecting Epstein.  As for J.F., whom we consider to be a friend of this site, it is notable his humorous, non-serious attitude about the bizarre affair.
